SIGMA Engineering GmbH uses Matomo to track and monitor the use of our website. Matomo is operated together with this website by SIGMA in Aachen, Germany on local servers. Data regarding the usage of our website are only recorded by SIGMA Engineering GmbH and are only processed by SIGMA and its subsidiaries. Under no circumstances will we forward this data to third parties.

Information collected by Matomo, e.g. time, place and frequency of your visit to the SIGMA website, is saved for statistical purposes. Your IP address is processed by us in anonymized and abbreviated form only, so that a referencing to individual website visitors is not possible. As a user of our website, you remain anonymous. Matomo uses two cookies for its analysis.

If you do not agree with the storage and analysis of the data about your visit to our website, you can object to the collection and use of this data at any time by unselecting the corresponding checkbox. YouTube with Extended Data Protection Mode

The SIGMA website may embed components (videos) from YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, which is part of Google Inc., Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

When you access a SIGMA web page with an embedded YouTube video, a connection to a server of YouTube will be established, and the corresponding content will be displayed in your web browser. SIGMA activates YouTube’s “privacy-enhanced mode” when embedding videos on its own website. According to YouTube, when using the “privacy-enhanced mode”, YouTube will only receive or store information about the SIGMA page you were using while watching the video when you start the video. If you are simultaneously signed in with your YouTube account, this information will also be registered in your YouTube account. You can avoid this by logging out of your YouTube account before visiting our website. Customer and Support Area

On our website, you have the possibility to register for access to the customer and support area. To access our customer and support area, a valid SIGMASOFT® license or another business relationship with SIGMA is required. To access this customer and support area, you will be provided with a personal user account with your user name and the corresponding personal password.

To allow us to provide you with our services, your data will be stored separately from this website in an encrypted manner for the duration of our business relationship. Your data is stored at SIGMA Engineering GmbH in Aachen, Germany, exclusively on local servers. In no case will a usage profile be created. These data are only processed by SIGMA Engineering GmbH or by SIGMA’s subsidiaries. Under no circumstances will we forward this data to third parties. The content of the customer and support area are provided to you in a personalized manner, dependent on your business relationship with SIGMA and the license status of your SIGMA products.

With your registration, we will also save your IP address, the time and the date of your registration. This serves as evidence of your registration and your consent.  

 

Profile – Your Personal Data and Settings

The customer and support area shows your profile as registered by us, including your registered personal data, and offers you the possibility to change that information if needed. If you use our file transfer area, the profile page offers you further options to manage access rights for other registered users within your company. Please note that we will not offer the identification data of those registered users automatically – for reasons of data protection, their personal data (e.g. e-mail address) needs to be known to you.
